Dolphin Ranger Tumbler

Dolphin Rangers are the coolest boys and girls from 7 to 12 years old who want to explore the underwater world and learn more about marine life. We make sure you get enough diving experience so you can dive safely for your environment and for your Dolphin Ranger Buddy.

The Dolphin Ranger program consists of 3 parts

As an IDD organisation we want to teach children the rules of diving in a familiar, fun and simple way. Therefore we have divided the program into 3 parts.

1. Rocker
2. Beluga
3. Orca

You start as a Tumbler and immerse yourself in the life of the dolphin. Then you glide through the water like a real Beluga and when you're ready you make two dives in the open water like a real Orca.

Dolphin Ranger Tumbler

This is the beginner course. We teach you to dive in the pool in a playful way by doing different exercises next to and in the water. And you learn to properly handle your equipment.

What we are going to do

• You learn in a playful way the theory and practice of handling your diving equipment.
• You do a minimum of 8 practice dives in the pool or confined open water
• Maximum diving depth is 3 metres

What you need

• Minimum age for participation: 7 years
• Swim A.

Brevet

After completion of the course you will receive your IDD Dolphin Ranger Bottlenose Dolphin certification. With this certification you are allowed to dive under supervision of an IDD officer in the pool or confined open water together with a certified Dolphin Ranger Tumbler up to a maximum of 3 meters.

You are now ready for your next certification. The Dolphin Ranger Beluga rating.
