Handicapped Scuba Instructor

Diving is an activity for people in good health. A diver must therefore regularly undergo a medical examination. People often think that people with a handicap are not healthy, but nothing is less true. With extra attention and possibly some aids, anyone with a handicap can enjoy diving. It goes without saying that safety is of paramount importance for this target group. There is an increasing demand for diving courses for the disabled. The training for IDD Handicapped SCUBA Instructor is designed to teach you how to work with this target group. The prerequisites for this course are an IDD Open water Instructor and IDD Medical trained Instructor.

  • Teaching and evaluation techniques.

What you need

  • Minimum age 18 years
  • Open Water Instructor
  • Medical Trained Instructor or equivalent
  • Oxygen Provider IDD or DAN

Brevet 

After completing the course you will receive the worldwide acknowledged IDD Handicapped Scuba Diver Instructor rating and you will know exactly how to teach our fantastic sport to people with a disability.
