Medical Trained Instructor
You will learn both theoretical and practical skills.
The IDD Medical Trained Instructor course is designed to teach you, as an IDD Open Water Instructor, how to work with this program and offer your students that little bit more. This course complies with the ARBO law and regulations. An IDD Medical Trained Instructor is authorized to give this training to divers and non-divers, companies and institutions.
What we are going to do
We are going to go through all the components that are covered in the Medical Trained training and we are going to show and teach you how to best transfer this knowledge.
- Knowledge of the human body
- First aid and resuscitation
- Fractures and contusions
- Secondary research and transport techniques
- Poisonings up to and including Hypothermia
- Eye injuries up to and including bandages
What you need
- Minimum age 18 years
- Open Water Instructor
- Medical Trained or equivalent
- Oxygen Provider IDD or DAN
Brevet
After completion you will receive the IDD Medical Trained Instructor certificate. This certification is valid for 2 years. The only condition is that you can prove that you have assisted in a Medical Trained course at least 2 times per year or have taught a Medical Trained course at least 1 time per year.
