Night Diver

Dark, exciting and mysterious. Experience diving at night. A completely different world! Even if you have dived a place 100 times before. Diving in the dark provides a completely new experience. Mysterious and attractive. Day life makes way for night life and it seems like you are somewhere else. The animals that show themselves during the day are gone and other animals show themselves. You will be short of eyes when you turn on your diving light!

What we are going to do

When you dive in the dark you focus on what your light beam shines on. You control your buoyancy by feeling. We teach you to deal with this and we teach you to stay with your buddy and to pay attention to other details than what you pay attention to during the day.

We're going to practice the following:

• Use of the diving torch
• Communication techniques in the dark
• Determining how animals and plants behave in the dark
• Besides the theory we will of course go into the open water. 

What you need

• In addition to the standard equipment, you will need a headlamp and a back-up torch
• Minimum age 10 years
• (Junior) Open Water Diver;
