World Record Alert!

Instructor Dive Development (IDD) has great news to share!
On Saturday, April 20, 138 adventure divers made history in Curacao by breaking the Guinness World Record for playing dominoes underwater.
This exciting event took place on the beautiful Grote Knip and was not only a victory for the underwater domino game, but also a wonderful step forward in protecting our oceans.

The previous record, which stood at 60 divers playing in a pool for 10 minutes, was far surpassed. With 138 divers playing for a whopping 23 minutes without any disqualifications, it was an impressive achievement.
This world record attempt was organized by Casha, an association for small local tourism entrepreneurs.

But the spectacle did not stop here! An exciting domino tournament also took place above water, with hundreds of participants, including multiple world champion Joaquin Martinez, competing.

This success was due in part to the great cooperation between several diving schools, including Bahia Diving, Central Dive, Curious2Dive, Dushi Diving, Scubacao, Divers Republic, All About Scuba and Villa Topzicht.

At IDD, we are incredibly proud of this amazing accomplishment and we are pleased to have been able to contribute to this special event as a co-sponsor.

It is a day we will not soon forget, celebrating the passion for diving and the love for our oceans.

Here's to many more records and beautiful moments underwater!
